We are currently recruiting for a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer. The role is based within a Local Authority in the Greater Manchester area. Experience within Local Authority is desirable but not necessary if other experience is met. More details below.

Contracts and Procurement Lawyer


Location:
Manchester


Salary:
£45-£55

Contract Length: 3 Months on going (Hybrid but flexible
- mainly Remote working)


The Role Skilled at providing concise and clear advice and able to communicate with Elected Members, Council Officers and members of the public.


  • Experience in contract drafting and be skilled at drafting legal documentation.
  • Contracting and procurement processes;
  • Employment law; Commercial and financial awareness.
  • Contract management and dispute resolution;
  • Drafting and where appropriate, negotiating, relevant documentation;
The Person Qualified Solicitor 3+ years' experience within Corporate and Commercial Law

  • Someone who understands the structural framework of Local Authority Law
  • Manage your own case load from start to completion.
We also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth £250.
