Finance Assistant

Permanent

Based in Hassocks (you must be a car driver due to the location)

£22,000 - £24,000 per annum

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a growing and friendly business in the Hassocks area on a permanent basis.


Your duties will include:


  • Check the coding of purchase invoices, match to purchase orders and send for approval
  • Check purchase orders have been correctly raised, coded, and approved before orders are placed
  • Where necessary chase purchase order, invoice and payment approvals
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Help to prepare the weekly payment run and send to the Managing Director for approval
  • Monitor stock levels by entering receipts and issues onto a spreadsheet or bespoke stock system
  • Answer stock queries and provide information and reports as required
  • Carry out other duties as required to support the Finance Team and wider business

Key requirements:


  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Enthusiastic with a desire to learn
  • Accounts experience is advantageous but not required

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£20,279.13-£24,000.34 per year
