Band 5 Registered Nurse position within Lightburn Hospital, Rehabilitation Dept, North Sector.

You will work within the nursing and multiprofessional team to ensure a high standard of care to a defined patient group.
You will competently perform the necessary technical / invasive / physical aspects of care for this defined patient group.
You will provide clinical leadership for the assessment of patient needs, implementation and evaluation of care, which are evidence based.
You will utilise all available resources taking into consideration the lifestyle, gender and cultural background and ensure involvement with the patient, family, carers and significant others.
You will empower patients to take responsibility for their health, wellbeing and future lifestyle by practicing in an open, transparent and inclusive manner; thereby ensuring patients have the relevant information to participate in decisions about their care.

It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC. It would be preferable that you have some experience within care of the older adult, but not essential.
