An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Social Worker to join the Renal Services Team within the Transplant Directorate at Addenbrooke's Hospital.

We are looking to appoint a Social Worker who is ambitious, creative and focused and who can demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills.


You would benefit from previous experience of social work in a clinical setting and will need a proven track record of supporting individuals and their families.

In return, you will be working with a proactive and dynamic multi-disciplinary team who are driven to deliver the very best care for patients.


The role will provide a highly specialised Social Work Service, which includes assessment and psycho-social interventions for adults with kidney disease and their families.

The Service covers a large geographical area in addition to designated Wards and Dialysis Unit.

The Satellite Dialysis Units are located at West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds, Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn.


To provide a high quality, specialist social work support service to adult patients under the care of the renal team at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.
