A small Special Needs school in Wandsworth is recruiting experienced Learning Mentors for full time, ongoing positions. Working hours are 8.15am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
The school caters for 100 pupils aged 11-19 years old, with EHCPs for SEMH, however many students have additional needs such as ASD, ADHD and SpLD.
The selected applicants will have previous SEN experience, especially with ASD and associated needs. The school are particualrly keen to hear from applicants with Autism and complex mental health needs.
Responsibilities:
- Work on a 1:1 basis leading sessions and delivering lessons
- Supporting students at all attainment levels
- Ability to engage and support pupils across activities and learning
- Supervising, coaching and mentoring behaviour of pupils
