Here at The Isle of Wight College we work with a number of employers, in a vast array of industries. A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work as a Sales Advisor Apprentice at Bembridge Garage Limited, Staddlestones.
This is a unique opportunity to join a thriving business.

Staddlestones are the family-run Isle of Wight dealership for Nissan and Peugeot vehicles.

They offer a full range of services from new cars and light commercials, a large range of quality used cars and vans, to full manufacturer-backed workshop and parts facilities.

Staddlestones are also Daihatsu aftersales specialists providing full parts, workshop and warranty services.

Based in Ryde, they offer over 30 different new vehicle ranges providing one of the widest choices in one location anywhere on the island.

Over the years the business has won many awards for their customer care, including Nissan's Global Award for Customer Service.

Owing to previous apprentice success across a variety of departments within the business, Staddlestones are now looking to recruit a dynamic apprentice to join their award-winning Sales Team.

Tasks and responsibilities will include:

Helping our Sales Team to sell new and used cars and accessories.
Assisting our administration team in the processes required during a car sale.
Learning our processes and systems, and gaining confidence in dealing with customers in person, by telephone and electronic means.
Assisting all areas within the car sales department and dealing with customers via multiple channels.

Person specification:

Qualifications Required:

GCSE grade C/4 or above in English & Maths (or equivalent qualification and/or ability to work towards these Functional Skills)

Apprenticeship Standard:

Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship.
Functional Skills in Maths and English if required and not previously achieved GCSE grade 4/or equivalent or above.
There is a requirement to complete off the job training, monthly College attendance will contribute but time spent either learning something new, other courses or any support work that is not in your usual role will also be counted.

Working Week

40 hours per week.

Monday

Saturday
1 Hour for lunch with a regular day off in the week.

Wage:

£211.20 per week.
