Electrical Testing Engineer


As an Electrical Testing Engineer you will report to the Supervisor / Contract Manager, and you are the first point of contact between the business and our client.

You must have good written and oral communication skills and have a high level of technical knowledge across the electrical industry.

Working hours are Monday-Friday with weekend work and overtime available upon request


Main Duties:


  • Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, servicing, inspecting, and testing
  • Diagnosing and rectifying faults
  • Carry out electrical remedial works
  • Undertake new electrical inspections
  • Action reactive electrical works
  • Complete emergency lighting inspections and repairs
  • Carry out company works as required and to desired standards
  • Provide the highest level of customer care
  • Comply with company procedures and policies
  • Produce reporting on time and to agreed standards
  • Adhere to the company's quality management system and recycle correctly and responsibly

Experience & Skills:


  • UK Driving Licence (required)
  • Experience in electrical repair, maintenance, servicing & installations, preferably within the public sector
  • A sound knowledge of tools, equipment & materials common to the Electrical Trade
  • Current Trade Qualifications
  • Good communication skills, both verbal & written
  • The ability to interpret schematics and electrical drawings
  • IT literate
  • A commitment to great customer service

Pay:
£35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
