The Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team mission is to: build and sell intelligent cloud and intelligent edge solutions with partners, empowering people and organizations to achieve more.

GPS is a sales organization accountable for the commercial partner business at Microsoft.

Building on the GPS mission, the Partner Solutions Sales role is key to Microsoft's channel management strategy as part of the GPS Organization.

In the Partner Solutions Sales role we are looking for individuals with a passion for selling solutions together with our best partners As the Partner Solutions Sales you will drive Solution Sales in Azure across the segment through a set of prioritized and specialized partners.

You will have a primary focus on understanding where the greatest areas of opportunity exist within your segment, and to then create a Solution Sales plan and execution model with your partners.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.


Responsibilities:


As Partner Solutions Sales, you are first responsible to generate quality Solutions pipeline working with a set of prioritised partners and ensure proper handover to our customer sales teams to execute and drive revenue and consumption of the Microsoft cloud platforms.

You will work with their partners and our customer Sales teams through Account planning to identify target customers and use cases for partners to lead and generate co-sell pipeline.


You will specialise in one of Microsoft cloud platforms (Azure, Dynamics, Security, Microsoft 365) and work with your extended teams to drive solution area sales performance through pipeline generation activities.

You will create a Solution Sales plan and execution model with your partners aligned to Microsoft Enterprise Sales Plays.

You will drive collaboration between stakeholders from different parts of the business to create demand, bring new ideas to market, establish quality partner connections.

You will orchestrate and mobilise all necessary resources to drive quality inbound pipeline, engaging with Microsoft and Partners Marketing teams, leveraging all programs and funding available, and actively co-sell with our partners to generate and qualify pipeline and ultimately sales performance.


Qualifications:


  • Solid years of core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, business development experience
  • Reasonable level of technical proficiency and appetite to develop knowledge in specific Solution Area
  • Extensive experience of managing virtual teams across functions and geographies
  • Inclusive and collaborative driving teamwork and crossteam alignment
  • Manage and drive strong collaboration with a complex stakeholder map to drive business success.
  • Strong partner relationship management and solution development skills
  • Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small audiences.
  • Excellence in problem solving; with a mentality and proven ability to leverage internal and/or external resources, including a strong conflict resolution capability and follow through with partners.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and coaching skills; cross group collaboration, and proven ability to influence across organizational boundaries
  • Bachelor's degree required (Sales, Marketing, Business Operations); MBA desired
