Description
The Lothian Eating Disorders Service is a well established multi-disciplinary outpatient and community Eating Disorders Service. The service is based in the Royal Edinburgh Hospital and is set up for clinic and home-based working.

The service supports patients with a wide range of eating disorder presentations and offers interventions from guided self-help to high intensity psychological therapy for those with complex needs.

This fixed term post is covering maternity leave and we will aim to match specific areas of interest and expertise within the overall framework of the job description.

Core tasks will include managing an individual therapy caseload, contributing to complex assessments, and providing clinical supervision.

Specialist interest in eating disorders is desirable but there is also scope to work with people with an eating disorder who are autistic or need to focus on trauma or engage in treatment for a co-morbid difficulty e.g.

OCD or mood disorders. We also offer group and family work. There can also be opportunities to input into audit and wider service development. The postholder will have access to continuing professional development and their own clinical supervision.

This is a full-time post but part time hours, flexible working or a job share may be considered.

You will have a Doctoral level degree (or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology and be eligible for registration with the HCPC and the BPS Division of Clinical Psychology.

This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.

Please note, interviews will take place via Microsoft Teams.
