I am working with an established Accountancy Practice in central Basingstoke, Hampshire looking for a Tax Assistant to join their growing team.

This is a newly created opportunity which has come about due to a recent office expansion allowing them space to increase their Tax team.


Boasting a large team across 3 offices, this practice has nailed down the secret to a great workplace, with many long-standing personnel and a supportive workplace culture geared towards everyone's continued success.


With this being a Tax Assistant position, you will be responsible for a portfolio of personal tax clients - preparing schedules and workpapers, drafting tax returns and answering any queries that may arise in this process.


About you:

  • 23 years experience in Practice
  • Can prepare simple tax returns, unsupervised
  • Experience of managing your own portfolio
  • Good prioritisation and organisational skills


Reporting to the Tax Seniors, this would be the ideal opportunity for a trainee looking to make a step up into a larger practice.
