The Head of People and Sustainability will be at the forefront of guiding the organisation's commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

They will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company's actions and initiatives are in line with these global sustainability targets.

They will also oversee the B Corp certification process, ensuring compliance with standards and requirements and working closely with relevant departments to implement necessary changes and improvements to meet B Corp criteria.


The purpose of the role is to bridge the gap between our commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture and employee well-being in order to attract and retain the very best talent (the "People" aspect), and our dedication to sustainable business practices and Corporate Social Responsibility (the "Sustainability" aspect).

Combining these functions under one role allows for a more integrated and holistic approach to organisational sustainability. It will help to align people-related initiatives with broader ESG and CSR goals.

This role is essential for several reasons:

Balancing People, Planet, and Profit:The Head of People and Sustainability will play a key role in aligning and balancing the Triple Bottom Line (People, Planet, and Profit) within the organisation. They will ensure that the company's social and environmental responsibilities are integrated into the overall business strategy and are harmonised with profitability goals in order to drive positive change and long-term success.

B Corp Certification: Develop and articulate the company's B Corp vision, mission, and goals.

Enhancing Workplace Culture:This role will focus on creating a positive workplace culture that promotes employee well-being and engagement. A healthy and inclusive work environment is crucial for attracting and retaining talent and fostering a motivated workforce.

Promoting Sustainability:The Head of People and Sustainability will drive sustainability initiatives within the company, including reducing our environmental footprint, implementing eco-friendly practices, and ensuring regulatory compliance. They will identify opportunities to promote sustainability in the supply chain and across operations.

Compliance and Reporting:Responsibility for monitoring and reporting on environmental sustainability and social responsibility performance. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, as well as evaluating the financial impact of sustainability efforts.

Enhancing the Employee Brand: This role will actively contribute to building a positive employee brand by creating and managing programs that support employee development, well-being, and retention. Develop and lead initiatives to enhance employee well-being, mental health, engagement, and professional development within the organisation.

Collaborate with HR and other departments to create and manage programs that support employee health, wellness, and career growth. Working with others integrate CSR into the company's culture.
