SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary:
£85 - £95 per day

The School/role:

We are currently looking for an experienced SEND teaching assistant who can take on a full-time on-going job role in a Special Educational Needs provision in Walsall that supports young people aged with SLD, ASD and PMLD.

They are passionate about preparing students for life and supporting them to achieve their personal goal. This is a full-time post and will run until the end of the academic year.

In order to be considered for this one to one SEN Teaching Assistant role we require you meet the following criteria;

Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 2 or 3)
Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
SLD, MLD, ASD and Complex needs experience
Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
All Key Stage curriculum experience
Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
Two references working with children
