AR Associate (credit controller) to cover South Africa and UK (T-Z) ledgers. Based in Thames Ditton office. In this role, you will work as part of a dynamic and successful global OTC team. You will be accountable for maximizing cash flow whilst minimizing bad debt provision.
What you'll be doing;

You will manage queries and chase payments from our customers in a timely manner on behalf of our South Africa region, whilst delivering a tier 1 service to internal and external stakeholders.

You will be accountable for all cash collections for the South African region including risk management and efficient cash flow cycle, send out invoices and monthly statements as well as calling customers in line with the cash collections process.


  • Working collaboratively with the local Sales team to aid and assist negotiations and escalations with the joint goal of reducing the age profile of receivables.
  • Providing management with timely and accurate reporting that includes cash collections forecasts and managing all unallocated/unidentified credits is essential in this role.
  • You will be able to drive targeted AR reductions and help improve relevant controls whilst maintaining quality of output in a KPI driven environment in order to achieve monthly bookings, billing and collections targets.
  • Promote and develop excellent working relationships across all internal and external stakeholders, placing the customer at the heart of any decision.

What experience are we looking for:


A background in credit control is essential for this role, as well as an independent and proactive approach to work, you are likely to have a minimum 2-3 years experience in an International B2B/OTC Business.


  • Detailed working knowledge and experience of the latest industry standards in relation to billing and collection of income and debtor management.
  • Knowledge and experience of all methods of payment and the different payment channels for receiving customer payments.
  • Experience of working in a changing environment, able to focus on quality and key deliverables. Excellent communication skills.
