As Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing a Commercial Plan for a specified group or activity.

Implement effective cross channel campaigns to maximise the impact of digital channelsin recruitment and retention activity.


Key Responsibilities as an Marketing Executive:

  • Develop marketing communication plan for a given group or activity with guidance from a Marketing Manager.
  • Organise and support events and liaise with third party suppliers, including occasional attendance.
  • Create and maintain content using the content management system for the company websites and apps.
  • Create personalised automated marketing campaigns across all channels using CRM software.
  • Create and maintain elearning modules in the learner management software.
  • Create marketing literature working closely with the Marketing Manager.
  • Support colleagues in the marketing team by working on crosssegment projects as required.
  • Work with external suppliers and creative agencies, managing deliverables to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
  • Track and report the success of agreed marketing activity, utilising a range of online analytics tools.
  • Assist in the achievement of brand positioning, ensuring brand messaging and visual identity is consistent with brand and values
  • Support the development of marketing activities that contribute to the achievement of the desired customer experience.
  • Provide information to support the development of customer value propositions, keeping abreast of the macro and microenvironment for the sector.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • The post holder should possess the following technical competencies:
  • The ability to prioritise and handle a workload to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience of an omni channel approach integrating digital, social media and traditional marketing
  • Proven experience of taking a publication from concept to print including management of the interim steps
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels internal and external
  • Proven experience of organising events
  • A good understanding of marketing principles and how each element of the marketing mix impacts on the success of marketing activity.
  • Hold the Certificate in Marketing qualification or equivalent.
