Full time, term time only plus 10 days spread across the holidays
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Purpose of the role
Our Operations Team plays a crucial role in enabling our teaching and pastoral staff to provide the best outcomes for our students.
You will also work as part of the team to provide administrative and clerical support to staff, parents, pupils, ensuring that internal and external communication is of the highest standard as well as being organised and methodical in your work.
We are looking for someone who will bring enthusiasm, initiative, good humour and a clear appreciation of our main purpose to serve the needs of all young people.
You will have a proactive interest in helping develop the way we work in our operations area, ensuring our processes embody the core values of the school.

Across our operational support team we have varying peaks of work throughout the year and aim to be collectively flexible according to demand, adapting to help each other during busy times rather than working as individuals.
Although predominantly working within the administration offices, a willingness to reciprocally learn skills outside of your immediate role to support your colleagues across the wider team is essential.

- Work collaboratively within the operational and wider school community to ensure that our administrative processes meet the needs of our staff, students and families, and demonstrate our core values

BCCS Specific Responsibilities (Administrator):
- Work alongside the Chief Operating Officer and Cover Manager to monitor the day to day staff absence, planning staff requests and trips
- Manage school systems to lead on the reporting process and compile reports for analysis of student progress.
- Check reports before they are issued to students and parents.
- To lead on the organisation of events, eg Parents Evening appointments.
- Work closely with the school Data Manager to enter data onto the school information systems. Support the collation of information for school admissions at key points in the year.
- Support recruitment processes, preparing interview packs and logístical planning of interview days
- Assist with administrative and booking work for school trips
- Assist with writing and sending school communications to stakeholders
- Assist on the school's main reception as required and complete general administrative requests to support the Senior Leadership Team
- Demonstrate excellent GDPR good practice at all times
relation to the post holder's professional responsibilities and duties.
