Description

We're looking for a Content Editor Aquent is helping our client, a global leader in travel, look for a Content Editor to join their Editorial team. You'll have the opportunity to work within our client's centre of creative excellence and be responsible for developing high-impact, iconic and culturally relevant editorial content across all brands.


This will be a
12-month contract role and will require you to work
onsite 2 days per week in our client's office in Angel, Central London.

Some additional travel may be required.

The role comes with an attractive PAYE rate of between
£67.7k - £92.8k per annum, pro-rata, equivalent to £ £357 per day.

As a Content Editor, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Being responsible for all aspects of content, which includes development, design, production, presentation, evaluation and analysis, to name a few
  • Using data and feedback from users to help evaluate and enhance the value of a set of written materials and websites
  • Conceiving and executing editorial content, producing copy and creative assets, and developing ideas for how our client's brands' value propositions and positioning come to life
  • Commissioning and writing copy of the highest quality, understanding our client's brands' individual brand platforms and point of view
  • Partnering across the company—with brand strategists, product and technology professionals, producers, customer engagement specialists and more—to develop a deep understanding of the brands
  • Evangelizing for the power of great writing to shift perception and drive results
  • A good journalist contact book, and you'll help build up a network of brilliant freelance contributors, photojournalists and writers across the globe
  • Excellent writing, editing and commissioning skills
  • Proficiency in Keynote
