The role will include but is not limited to:

• Meeting and greeting clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answering calls and scheduling appointments.
• Maintaining accurate records of pet visits and treatments.
• Dealing with client queries and taking messages.
• Administration duties and dealing with correspondence.
• Processing payments and end of day banking.
• Ensuring the reception area is clean and tidy at all times.
• Providing information to clients regarding pet care, vaccinations, and medications.

We are a busy small animal prcatice with a team of two other receptionists, 5 nurses and 2 vets, so good organisational skills and competency under pressure are essential.

This is a full time position based on 37.5hrs per week with a 1 in 3 Saturday morning.


Job Types:

Contract length: 9-12 months


Salary:
£10.00-£11.00 per hour
