Are you an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for a fulfilling opportunity?


Aspire People are currently recruiting for a Level 3/Higher Level Teaching Assistant to begin a long-term position as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.

This is a full time role and you will be expected to complete typical HTLA duties.

You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across all key stages


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting teachers with planning and delivering lessons.
  • Providing targeted support to small groups or individual students.
  • Managing classroom behaviour, ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Supervising students during break times and lunch.
  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

As an agency employed HLTA, the schools will expect you to maintain the standards of a permanent member of staff so the following is expected:

  • Strong curriculum knowledge.
  • Minimum Level 3 HLTA (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Regular assessments of pupils.
  • Able to plan and deliver lessons.
