JOB TITLE:
Interim Legal Counsel


LOCATION:
West Midlands


SALARY:
Circa £60,000-£80,000 per annum dependent upon experience

THE ROLE:


This exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global organisation on a 12month fixed term contract providing maternity cover within an established team.

Reporting to the Director of Legal, you will be providing commercial and corporate assistance across theEuropean region.

This role requires the successful Legal Counsel to take the lead on complex contracts and queries raised by the contract review team, and to build relationships at a local level to ensure efficient and effective service provision to the business.

The opportunityto have an involvement in mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate transactional matters, may also arise, and this role will see you providing legal advice and support to CEO and Board level.

This organisation deals in multi-discipline consultancy services and has an exceptional reputation in its field, not only for the services it provides to the external market, but also for the culture of staff well-being and supportive working environment offered.


THE CANDIDATE:


This role requires a confident and experienced Legal Counsel with the ability to build rapport and relationships with a wide range of client departments and across various geographical locations.

Strong communication skills are essential, along with an exceptionallevel of commercial acumen and a desire to achieve the best commercial outcomes for the organisation.

A commitment to collaborative working is essential to be successful in this role.

A qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England & Wales, you will possess at least 3 years of company commercial experience, ideally some of which will have been gained in an inhouse environment.

This role is due to commence April/May 2023 and so you will haveavailability to commence a 12month contract around that time.
