Description

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
• Assemble and install joinery components such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture
• Install hardware and fittings such as hinges, handles, and locks
• Repair or replace damaged joinery components
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians and plumbers to ensure proper installation of joinery items
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Joiner or similar role
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Strong knowledge of different types of joinery techniques and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, and roofing is a plus
