Description

We require a
Forklift/Waste Recycling Operative for our client, a prestigious family-owned printing company in East Belfast, for a temp-perm post.

Rate of pay:
£14.50 per hour

Hours of work:

Sunday Midnight - 6am, Monday - Thursday 10pm - 6am.
NIGHTSHIFT

Counterbalance Forklift Certificate is essential

Main tasks of Job:

Waste segregation and waste control duties using a forklift truck
Filing and administration of waste control documentation
Offloading, receipt, storage and stock control of sundry items and raw materials
Order assembly and preparation of goods for dispatch
Loading collection vehicles for delivery
Performing other duties deemed necessary by the Warehouse Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the department.

Essential Requirements:

Counterbalance Fork Lift training and certification
Previous relative experience working in a similar role within a busy warehouse
A methodical approach to work
The ability to work on own initiative
Excellent accuracy skills
Good standard of IT skills

Desirable Requirements:

Experience working in a similar role within the printed packaging industry
GCSE Math's and English grade C or above (or equivalent)
Previous driving experience gained within a working environment
Experience of Waste Segregation and sound housekeeping practices
Full Clean Driving License
