Description
The Council is looking for a Housing Management Assistant to help deliver its housing management services. The Council manages a small housing stock of mixed tenures. This new role will provide assistance with all aspects of management of these properties.


As part of the role, you will take queries and provide advice and guidance to the tenants and shared owners as well as providing and support the Housing Officer and Housing Repairs and Compliance Officer in their management of our accommodation.

You will also work closely with the other teams within housing to provide an excellent overall service to customers.

The Person


We are seeking a person who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and working proactively to resolve issues as they arise.

Previous experience of working in a housing environment is not essential.


The successful applicant will be working closely with two other team members to manage the Council's housing stock portfolio, which will involve liaising with both customers, contractors, and partner agencies closely.

Therefore, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team will be important.
