Supporting Managing Director by completing accounting tasks. Preparing budgets, maintaining reports, and completing daily bookkeeping and accounting duties for the company.- Posting sales and purchase invoices and journal entries on accounting software (SAP)
- Processing weekly payment runs, DD collections and as hoc payments
- Processing the bank reconciliation, creating journals/ entries for activity as required
- Handling accruals and prepayments
- Managing monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Maintaining company ledgers
- Maintaining cashflow forecast
- Assisting with annual budget and monthly forecast preparation
- Preparing purchase orders in accordance with requests for materials
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Complying with legal requirements as they pertain to the company's operations and financial activities
- Preparing information for auditors
- Updating daily sales report
- Additional duties as designated by management
Skills required:
- Good operating knowledge of Excel
- SAP experience
- Ability to communicate financial results
- Analytical skills
- Understanding accounting standards
Job Type:
Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-24 per week
Salary:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Experience:
- bookkeeping: 8 years (preferred)
- SAP: 1 year (preferred)
