A great opportunity has become available for:

Contracts Manger. Managing both planned and reactive building maintenance and repair contracts.

Based out of our Portsmouth HQ, you will join the company on a full-time permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary and a company vehicle.

Key responsibilities will include:


  • Identify and manage planned and reactive tasks.
  • Carry out joint assessments with clients.
  • Assist with scoping, price, quote and delivery of project works.
  • Support a quick response to building fabric emergency repairs as needed.
  • Support and manage trade staff/subcontractors.
  • Manage project works including safe site setup and delivery of risk assessments, trade brief, and quality signoff of work.
  • Supporting, training and developing the trades and subcontractors in their technical ability, safety, customer service and organisational ability
  • Ensuring trades are working efficiently and effectively at all times, through managing productivity and resolving issues.
  • Providing technical advice and support to the trades, subcontractors and client as required
  • Carrying out quality checks on completed works when required.
  • Always understanding and enforcing health and safety issues.
  • Being a part of the out of hours Managers rota, providing technical assistance and support for the operatives or the client

What we are looking for:


  • A numerate and literate individual who can read architectural drawings.
  • Experience of working on commercial/public buildings
  • Minimum 2 years' experience of working in a property maintenance environment.
  • 2 years' experience of supervising of maintenance repairs/project works.

It is a requirement that all staff must pass a DBS check prior to employment. Further enhanced checks may also be required.


Salary:
From £20,000.00 per year
