The Science Department is a very successful department within the school, teaching small groups in newly refurbished, purpose-built labs. Excellent results are achieved at GCSE in all three sciences, for pupils of all abilities.

Each of the Sciences has a Head of Department, with a Head of Science overseeing the department as a whole.

You will be joining a thriving team.


The vacancy has arisen following the decision of the current incumbent, Mrs Julie Gresswell, Head of Physics and Head of Science, to move to a pastoral role at Sedbergh School from September 2024.
