Global engineering business require a Production Planning Manager. Applicants should have production planning or production control expertise, experience of managing staff and strong understanding of MRP/ERP.


The Production Planning Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Planners to deliver master production schedules to satisfy customer demand.

The Production Planning Manager will be responsible for the allocation and movement of all materials andresources on the site.

Specific duties of the Production Planning Manager include:

  • Generation of production plans, master production schedules and capacity plans
  • Ensure availability of materials inline with production schedules
  • Mentoring and development of planning team
  • Ownership of MRP data
  • Support generation of S&OP plans
Production Planning Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Production Planning, Production Control or Master Scheduling experience
  • Experience of leading a team, or the ability to do so
  • MRP/ERP literacy and competency with MS Excel
  • An appreciation of manufacturing and factory operations
