Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people facing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges? We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Secondary SEMH Support Assistant to join our team and provide crucial support to students within our school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of individualized support plans for students with SEMH needs.
Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to provide tailored support within the classroom.
Provide guidance and encouragement to students facing emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Help students develop coping strategies and social skills to navigate school life successfully.
Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to teaching staff and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Relevant experience working with young people with SEMH needs, either in a school or similar setting.
Understanding of SEMH issues and strategies to support students' emotional and behavioural wellbeing.
Empathy, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
An enhanced DBS check(or happy to take one out) and eligibility to work in the UK.
Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment. _
Provide an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one (which Pink Tile can assist with). _
