The main purpose of the position is to ensure and maintain chemical/product compliance across the Tracerco chemical portfolio and operational activities.
The role will later expand into Product Stewardship and regulatory compliance activities (training can be provided) within the Tracerco business to ensure chemical/product regulatory compliance and safe use with an aim to minimise adverse impacts on human health and the environment throughout the product life cycle.

Your responsibilities:
- Specializes in one or more core elements, which may include product registration, Safety Data Sheet (SDS) authoring, product classification and labelling, and transport classification/dangerous goods.
- Knowledge of, and compliance with, applicable statutory requirements including chemical registration for all countries where chemicals/products are manufactured or imported, or product is sold/used.
- Collaborate, support and provide technical expertise to relevant business units, supporting functions and sites with respect to material and product compliance, facilitating business continuity and protecting the reputation of Tracerco across the value chain.
- Collaborate with other Global functions,
EHS, Legal, relevant business units, and pertinent stake holders to support the identification, impact of hazard characterisation, action planning and communication with regards to current and emerging laws and regulations (e.g. SDS Management, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, etc.). - Ensure a formal product review procedure is maintained to assess all
EHS regulatory aspects from research and development, through manufacture, distribution, sales and use, to end of life. - Maintaining a procedure for the preparation of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for internal usage and supply to customers that comply with regulatory requirements.
Requirements for the role:
- Minimum requirement is a university degree in chemistry or relevant Science related discipline or equivalent
- Demonstrable understanding of legislative frameworks, regulations, codes of practice and the requirements of statutory agencies
- Computer literate with advanced knowledge of Excel and other standard Microsoft packages.
