Purvis Storage & Distribution are a leading provider of quality UK, Ireland and European transport and storage services. Part of the Purvis Group, family owned & run since 1980.

Operating from our new site in Lochgelly, we have become a valued member of the Palletline network. With our warehouse and customer base constantly expanding we are looking to add to our team.

PSD are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse team leader with a minimum of 2 year's experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will oversee and coordinate our daily warehouse activities. As a Warehouse team leader, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse.

Monday - Friday 9.30am-6.30pm and Saturday morning 1 in 4 ROTA 8am - 12 noon (Paid as overtime)


About You
You will be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager you will have an enthusiastic approach to learning new skills. You will deliver high standards, working accurately, efficiently and most important safely.


So, what is involved?

• Supervise staff to ensure each area of the warehouse is coping with its workload.

Forklift license essential._

• Coordinating and overseeing all goods arriving and leaving the warehouse.
• Health and safety awareness.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ensuring all stock is received and checked against paperwork in line with established procedures.
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, safe, and tidy and layout is optimized for efficiency.
• Ensuring that customer orders are picked and packed OTIF & according to company procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous Warehouse leadership experience within a storage & distribution warehouse.
• Computer & IT literate
• Forklift counterbalance license essential. Any other will be advantageous.
• Shunting experience not essential but training would be provided.

Up to £28,000.00 per year
