ABOUT THE POSITION

DUTIES

  • Raising sales invoices
  • Processing expenses and income
  • Preparing and posting journals
  • Bank reconciliations, including final checks for yearends
  • Investigating discrepancies
  • Payroll reconciliations
  • Accounting software set up
  • Analysing current bookkeeping processes for clients and improving them
  • Credit control
  • VAT returns
  • Assistance with yearend accounts
  • Any other adhoc tasks

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

Minimum AAT Level 3 qualified
Minimum two years of practical bookkeeping experience ideally in an accounting practice
Minimum Excel skills at medium level
Fluent English in speech and writing

Learning and growth - whether it's improving processes and systems or learning about tax, accounting and bookkeeping they have to be one of your values.

We're looking for a person, who strives to become a bookkeeping expert.
Eligibility to work in the UK

Experience with Xero and AutoEntry

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Remote working arrangement must be available for travel to Oxford and Oxfordshire
  • 10 hours per week with a possibility to increase the hours
  • Working days and hours to be agreed
  • 3month probation period with an option to be extended
