This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified and enthusiastic sports teaching assistant to join our happy, friendly and forward-thinking school that is fully committed to striving for the best in our pupils.

The successful applicant will have a passion for supporting the teaching of PE, including gymnastics, and Games to children across the primary age range.


The PE and Games team comprises the Head of PE and Games, two other full-time PE and Games teachers and the Sports Teaching Assistant.

We operate a fully co-educational games programme from Reception through to Year 6.

In Year 3 and 4, children spend one half term on each of our main sports (Football, Netball, Hockey, Rugby, Cricket and Rounders).

Children can then choose their preferred sports for Year 5 and 6, uninfluenced by the stereotypes associated with the traditional "boys" and "girls" games.


Ravenscourt Park Preparatory School was last inspected by ISI in November 2021 and received the grade of 'excellent' in all categories.
