Strata Consulting are currently looking to recruit a Civil 3D Technician to join the Leeds office of an award-winning national consultancy.

The company are looking to strengthen their Civil Engineering team with the addition of a skilled Civil Technicianwho excels with Civil 3D.

The client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy who work on a mixture of large development infrastructure projects.

Working closely with the Senior Engineers, on a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for producing infrastructure/highways and drainage drawings as part of a team delivering a mix of works including roads, pavements, bridges, cut and fill, Section 278Agreements, flood alleviation and sustainable drainage systems.

Your experience will have involved preparing indicative drainage schemes, investigating SUDS options, liaising with clients, architects etc.

undertaking the production of external works, drainage and highways construction design drawings, calculations andspecifications for civil engineering schemes and preparing specifications in DMRB and NBS for highway works.

Additionally, experience of S38/278 highway schemes and section S104/106 drainage schemes is required.

Job Requirements/Experience

Minimum two years' experience as a Civil Technician within infrastructure and/or highway design.
Proficient with MicroDrainage and/or Civil 3D.
Producing infrastructure design calculations, drawings & specifications.
Strong working knowledge of Section 38 and 278, for highways.
Strong working knowledge of Section 104 and 106 for drainage.
Have excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
Good understanding of UK Building Regulations, Design Standards, Codes of Practice and Health & Safety regulations.
HND or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
