We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Taxi Dispatcher.


Responsibilities:

Efficiently dispatch available taxis to customers based on location, availability, and customer preferences

Monitor the status and progress of assigned taxi trips to ensure on-time pickups and drop-offs

Communicate effectively with taxi drivers to provide clear instructions and updates on customer requests and traffic conditions

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and courteous manner

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and dispatch activities

Collaborate with other team members to optimize service efficiency

Stay updated on local events, road closures, and other factors that may impact transportation services


Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Proficiency in using computer systems, including dispatch software and mapping tools

Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations

Familiarity with the local area, including streets, landmarks, and popular destinations

Previous experience in a dispatching or customer service role is preferred

Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
