OMERS Infrastructure is a pioneer and global leader in infrastructure direct investing with over 20 years of experience originating, executing, and actively managing infrastructure investments.
OMERS Infrastructure manages approximately CAD$30 billion of investments on behalf of OMERS and strategic partners across a diversified global portfolio of airports, seaports, power generation, digital infrastructure, healthcare, utilities, and other essential services.
The role
In this role, you will work closely with the Infrastructure transaction teams on all their investment and asset management activities.
You will provide critical administrative support to the Infrastructure team for Europe this role will also see you work closely and liaise with teams based in our other offices worldwide.
You will be required to work at pace, to tight deadlines and with a high level of process ownership and accuracy, not only with OMERS team members, but also with the assistants of critical external counterparts and stakeholders such as legal and financial advisers, consultants, co-investors and portfolio companies.
Specific responsibilitiesExtensive calendar management and logístical coordination working across multiple time zones.
Arrange domestic and international travel including hotel accommodation, ground transportation, restaurant reservations and preparing detailed itineraries
Meeting preparation:
reserving meeting rooms, ordering catering/refreshments
Prepare expense reports for team members including the reconciliation of reimbursements
Maintain CRM database:
entering contact names and updating information
Oversee the processing of invoices for third party suppliers
Document management:
maintain folders in team SharePoint sites
Provide back-up administrative support to other administrative professionals such as: holiday cover, assist with onboarding of new team members.
Requirements:
A proven track record of successfully supporting executives and/or lawyers in financial organisations and/or law firms
Professional and mature demeanour, strong interpersonal skills.
Enjoys working in, and contributing to, a team-oriented environment
Proactive and able to anticipate and resolve issues and manage a challenging and varied workload often under pressure
Must have a complete respect for confidential information
Attentive to detail, accurate, organised and flexible.
