Description

Non-Emergency Patient Transport service provides a professional transport service to our service users living in and around Epsom, Carshalton and Surrey Downs outreaching as far as Croydon, West Byfleet, Crawley and Farnham. We also provide an effective and efficient Transport and Logistics service incorporating multiple aspects of Non-Patient Transport.**
The post holder will work in a Control room providing planning and control services for non-emergency transfer of patients, ensuring co-ordinated delivery of Patient Transport Services takes place as per contractual agreements, They will liaise closely with external contacts which may include members of the public and /or Clinical departments at hospitals, GP surgeries, clinics day centres, nursing homes.

The post holder ensures through accurate bookings, concise planning and effective control processes, that patients receive a smooth and timely journey to or from the hospital. Close liaison with all parties and accurate documentation is paramount to provide patient transport of the highest calibre.
**It is desirable that you will have had experience of working in a patient transport control environment. You will need to be able to stay calm and professional and be used to working in a pressurised environment, as well as record accurate information with conflicting demands on your time.
