Are you a Production Technician looking to work for a well know Manufacturer? Mpeople are assisting in the recruitment of a Production Technician.

You will be based at the Head Office in Bolton and be part of a group of companies with a team based acrossthe UK.All the company's products are designed and developed at head office.

You will be rewarded with, a supportive business, ongoing areas of training, great work to life balance (no weekend working) a salary of £22,700 - £24,700, hours are Monday toThursday 7.30 am to 4.00 pm, Friday 7.30 am pm.


Production Technician Duties:



  • Assist in carrying out production training of Apprentices and Production Operatives.
  • Coordinating document processes/ reporting of production activities with the Quality and Manager to roll out to the Production and wider Team.
  • Effective completion of production activities, via manual assembly, using hand tools, machinery, and reduce material waste and scrap.
  • Organise and maintain management systems documentation, update operational procedures inclusive of any issues reporting to specific Manager.
  • Give technical advice on processes and specialist equipment.
  • Maintain adherence and health and safety process to the production schedules.
  • To assist in the upkeep and maintenance of tools, equipment, identify ways of continued quality improvement, devising new processes or activities.
  • Assist in inspection and test of products to maintain quality and standards.
  • Adhere to company procedures on clean, safe and maintenance of working environments.
  • Work to internal KPIs.
  • Ensure that the accurate recording of working activity, consumed materials is maintained. followed, and recorded.
  • To report and record all accidents and incidents in line with procedure.

Production Technician Requirements:


  • 2 years' previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, NVQ Level 3 or key project accountability.
  • Required, Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams.
  • Have good problemsolving skills with excellent communication both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment whilst prioritising workloads
