Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Wealth Management company, ranked as one of the Top 100 Financial Advisers in the country with the FT Top 100 for four consecutive years; 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023.


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Perform data entry tasks to accurately record financial transactions
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Record commission received
  • Prepare and process invoices for payment
  • Assist with monthend and yearend closing procedures
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records
  • Generate financial reports as needed
  • Assist with FCA reporting as required
  • Maintain client and adviser records
  • Assist with performance analysis

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in using accounting software QuickBooks
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • AAT Accountancy qualification / Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field desirable
