About FOUNDRY:
FOUNDRY is a new coworking space for freelancers, startups and established businesses to work from. FOUNDRY offers private offices and a coworking lounge
FOUNDRY is focussed on the local business community and giving them the opportunity to flourish in a space where they are able to think differently.
This role will be working closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing all aspects of daily operations including opening / closing of the workspace (where required), ensuring all consumables are well stocked and reordered in a timely manner; the kitchen and toilet areas are regularly checked, restocked, and kept clean; ensure the lounge area is set up and ready for use each morning and throughout the day and the checklist is completed daily.
- Cover Reception desk when required, meeting and greeting FOUNDRY visitors and members, answering the phone, providing guest passes and sorting any queries or requests.
- Coordinate with the facilities / maintenance / cleaning teams to address maintenance and repair needs promptly.
- Support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with the smooth running of the location.

Member Experience:
- Interact with members, understanding their needs, and resolving any concerns or issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
Fire and Health and Safety Compliance:
- Support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire safety, emergency procedures, and FOUNDRY protocols.
Experience:
- Previous experience in coworking space, hospitality, or related industries is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Possess a flexible attitude with a positive commitment to teamwork.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a diverse member community.
- Problemsolving attitude and a proactive approach to addressing challenges and acting on own initiative.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, selfawareness, work ethic, and empathy.
- Passion and understanding for the FOUNDRY mission.
Job Type:
Part-time
Pay:
£12,000.00-£13,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Eastbourne, BN21 3NW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
