UK Warehouse Manager - Eastleigh

Salary Range:
£30,000 - £33,000 depending on experience.


Position Description:

The UK Warehouse Manager role is an opportunity to join our awesome UK team. You'll head up our UK warehouse, being responsible for all order fulfilment, incoming stock deliveries and general logistics.

The role's primary objective is to ensure a seamlessturnaround of order shipments, management of the building, stock and the health and safety for all employees.


Based in our Eastleigh warehouse, you'll work closely with our sales team looking after both our UK customers as well as some European distribution partners.

You'll also work closely with the marketing department as well as the Australian operations team,giving great exposure to all aspects of the business.

You'll ultimately play your part in the development of the business and help us to achieve some ambitious, and exciting goals.

You should represent the ethos of the brand - energy, self-motivation and a DIY attitude are crucial.


Responsibilities:


Warehouse

  • Ensure orders are picked and packed to a high standard using efficient strategies to reduce waste, cost, and time in the organising of shipments outgoing.
  • Manage workload, accordingly, utilize other staff members when and if required if extra staff is needed please assist in the organising of such
  • Supervision of housekeeping and maintenance of warehouse and welfare areas.
  • Liaise with Absolute Board Co (whom we act as a UK 3PL for) regarding orders, enquiries, and incoming shipments.
  • Maintain a clean workspace, keep all aisles clear and remove any possible hazards that may appear.
  • Ensure the correct security measures are taken when locking up.
  • Keep all levels of packaging stocked to at least 2 weeks of use.

Stock

  • Organise the unloading and receipting of incoming shipments.
  • Manage daily batch tracking and stock rotation.
  • Plan and supervise the storage of export shipments outgoing.
  • Monitor stock and inform your superior if there are any anomalies.
  • Identify damaged stock and segregate/write off accordingly.

Office

  • Keep up with weekly and monthly equipment checks.
  • Assist in the training and induction of all staff in the use of the equipment and health and safety.
  • Promote and ensure occupational health & safety standards comply with work safe practices and relevant legislation.

Key Qualities and Experience

  • Previous experience operating a warehouse.
  • Forklift license (Flexi preferred)
  • Can confidently and safely operate all warehouse machinery.
  • Strong IT skills. Ability to handle, extract and manipulate data.
  • Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively with the team, in the UK and Australia, as well as liaise with logistics partners and suppliers
  • Emergency First Aid training and Fire Warden training preferred.
  • Great customer service skills & phone manner
  • Ability to manage and prioritise your own work schedule. Good timekeeping required.
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Represent the brand's image and core values.
  • Must fit the style and ethos of the brand.
