Have you ever held the position of School Exams Officer?

Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to play a crucial role in the smooth execution of examinations?

If yes, we do have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are seeking to appoint an Exams Officer to join our dynamic, busy and friendly Business Support Team.

This is a full time role and you will be from Monday - Friday and 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Main responsibilities for this role:

  • To ensure equal access and opportunities for students and staff in the academy
  • To carry out all work relating to examinations procedures
  • To align with our academy vision and values and engage with students and adults in a positive, caring and respectful manner at all times
  • Organise and administer both external and internal examinations including entry, delivery and analysis of data, and management of the invigilation team
  • To ensure that exam papers are checked and stored safely in accordance with exam board rules
  • To manage the process of examination entries, seating and invigilation of all relevant examinations
  • To be responsible for the downloading and processing of examination results
These are some of the skills that we need from you:

  • Experience in the role of an examinations officer
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 2 proven relevant references
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise things without assistance
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Punctual and has a solid track record of attendance
