Full Time or Part Time hours are available: Part Time hours can be worked as part days across the week or Full Days for part of the week.


Ideally you will have worked in recruitment before and have a good understanding of the legislation and policies that govern recruitment, to ensure the organisation recruits safely and fairly with transparent processes.

Alternatively you will have strong administrative skills and a customer focused attitude, an eye for detail and willingness to learn

Experience of the Trac recruitment system or similar e-recruitment systems would be an advantage, but is not essential.

You will become part of a supportive team, facilitating a wide range of recruitment for EEAST.

This is a busy role, but one that offers an excellent sense of achievement and the opportunity to develop a range of coordination and administration skills as well as an understanding of the Ambulance Trust and how they deliver great patient care.

  • Main Requirements

1.1 Pro-actively ensure all pre-employment checks are undertaken and completed in accordance with employment legislation, NHS check standards and Trust policies, ensuring they are completed within the agreed time frame and take ownership for pursuing any outstanding information or documentation.

1.2 Prepare and send correspondence relating to recruitment i.e. offer letters, reference requests, contract of employment, payroll forms
1.3 Deal with recruitment enquiries, referring more complex matters to the appropriate contact.
1.4 Provide and receive accurate information orally, in writing or electronically from a variety of sources
1.5 Liaise with managers regarding the accurate completion of recruitment paperwork providing advice, guidance and suitable training when required
1.7 Use own initiative in drawing attention to any queries or anomalies that are discovered during the daily workload
1.8 Ensure employee contracts are processed in timely and accurately to enable the Trust's compliance with the legal requirements
1.9 To ensure all recruitment documentation is issued in an accurate and timely manner.
1.10 Receive, open, record and distribute the mail appropriately within the department, notifying staff of relevant issues as appropriate. Ensure the dispatch of outgoing post in order to contribute to the efficient operation of the service.
