We are currently Recruiting for a Production Operatives to join our team at our new Atlas Factory in Aldridge.

Atlas has been selected as a 'pathfinder factory' on Ibstock's journey to net zero. The factory plays a critical role in accelerating our ambition to reduce carbon by 40% by 2030 and be Net Zero operations by 2040.**
Key responsibilities:

Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
Undergo training to become a multi functional operative within 18mths
Participate in Tier 1 shift start up meetings
Maintain all required targets and efficiencies in line with company KPI'S
Operation of mobile plant as required
Work towards objectives and your own personal development plan
Adhering to health & safety, quality and environmental systems
To deliver through the process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement (IMS)
Assist with engineering when required
Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S's housekeeping and environmental management
Assist in the development of SSOP's and Risk Assessments
Participation in audit reviews health & safety ,quality, 5s and process

Essential qualifications & experience:

Excellent timekeeping, attendance and flexibility
Selfmotivated
Numerate & literate.
Team working attitude.
Ability to also work alone.
Excellent communication skills.
High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
Ability to work as part of a team or on your own.
Ability to learn to operate key manufacturing and mobile plant.
Willingness to undergo further training and development.
Previous labour intensive role

Desirable qualifications & experience:

Experience of working in a continuous improvement environment.
A certified counterbalance FLT driver is advantageous.
Previous Manufacturing experience advantageous
Knowledge of working with CMMS systems is advantageous

5S principles.

Localised upskilling.
