Start People are recruiting for our client based in Consett for an experienced Quality Inspector.

Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests on samples
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
Identify and report any nonconformities or deviations from quality standards
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
Participate in the development and improvement of quality control procedures
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems

Experience:

Previous experience as a Inspector or in a similar role preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or discrepancies
Knowledge of quality control principles and practices
Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in using computer software for data entry and record keeping

This role is a temporary to permanent with excellent benefits.

Training will be days of Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm then moving to shifts of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.

Weekly pay, lovely working environment.
