About Our Client:


The client is looking for a finance business partner with previous experience of handling budgets and dealing with internal and external stakeholders.


  • Demonstrate high quality, customer focused finance partnering service to the assigned business areas
  • Provide insightful and intelligent analysis on the key drivers impacting business performance and suggesting solutions to drive improvements in financial performance.
  • Investigate significant variances and details of any recurring trends.
  • Preparation and distribution of reports and variance commentary within deadlines.
  • Reconcile the necessary accounts as agreed with the Management Accountant within the agreed timescales.
  • Responsible for review and variance analysis of relevant areas of the balance sheet.
  • Support the setup, configuration and inputs of budgeting/ forecasting cycles.
  • Advise and challenge budget holders through the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring targets are realistic, in line with long term business plans.
  • Presentation and distribution of budgets/ reports and update budgets in finance systems

The Successful Applicant:


  • Previous business partnering experience
  • Previous experience handling budgets
  • Part qualified in ACCA/CIMA
  • Intermediate excel skills (vlookups/pivots)
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
