Butler Rose is pleased to be supporting a dynamic SME operating in a specialised industry with the recruitment of a Head of Finance.

Our client is focused on delivering exceptional products and services to their clients.

There is a strong emphasis on innovation and customer satisfaction, and they strive to stay at the forefront of their field.

The Head of Finance will report into a CFO with responsibility for a small finance team, and as the business continues to grow, the role of the Head of Finance will play a vital part in supporting the company's expansion plans.

Our client is seeking an individual who is flexible, hands-on, and ready to make a difference.

The successful applicant will also play a key part in the ERP implementation team during the migration stage of this new project over the coming months.

Some of the duties will include:

Oversee the month-end procedure
Control the business's cash flow
Organise and be ready for the company's initial audit in 202
Provide analysis related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics including costing
Create informative reports for the P&L, costing, and cash
Increase efficiency and profitability, communicate with the senior management team and key stakeholders.
Participate in planning the annual budget process with the CFO.
Manage outsourced Payroll process
Assume responsibility for all balance sheet and important P&L reconciliations.

Ideal applicant:

Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent accountant with managerial experience
Good process improvement skills
Excellent IT skills with knowledge of Oracle & MS Excel
Ability to think logically with excellent analytical skills
Good communication skills with the ability to influence and build working relationships
