HTC Construction are looking for a General Construction Operative on an employed PAYE basis to undertake day to day construction tasks as directed by the site management team.

The General Operative must be able to follow oral and written instructions, be detail-oriented and display the necessary enthusiasm and diligence to complete their tasks to the highest quality.


Main Duties

  • Performing general construction activities as directed.
  • Performing set up and clean up tasks at the job site.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Lift heavy loads and navigate construction job site terrain.
  • Providing labour as needed for trades on site.

Desirable Skills & Attributes

  • The ability to follow written and spoken instruction.
  • Excellent team working skills.
  • Comfortable working at height.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Good physical condition.
  • Familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures.
  • Capable of working with mínimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely.
