POSITION PURPOSE
Provides support for the completion of accounting and reporting activities for an assigned accounting process or TRPG subsidiary. Leverages work experience to perform a variety of routine and ad-hoc assignments.

Responsible for the quality, accuracy and completeness of own work and may review the work of more junior team members.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and create supplier exception vendors in Oracle
  • Review and approve vendor banking forms in Coupa SIM
  • Review T&E Auditing tool for (Appzen) high risk flags
  • Release vendor booking holds in Coupa
  • Customer Service inquiries in the ServiceNow portal
  • Collects data and other information required for the completion of accounting activities and to complete assigned sections of financial statements, disclosures and/or regulatory filings.
  • Supports the implementation of financial system modifications by assisting with user testing, contributing to requirements gathering and documenting process changes.
  • Monitors accounting and reporting processes, checking for errors and reconciling against supporting documentation. Raises issues to more senior staff, collaborating to determine an appropriate resolution.
  • Tracks accounting data and information needed for identifying risks, patterns or recurring issues. Following established procedures, performs simple calculations/manipulations of data to identify unusual patterns. Within established guidelines, corrects the root cause of unusual patterns; escalates critical issues.
  • Maintains supporting documentation relating to assigned accounting and reporting activities in accordance with department policies and procedures and the applicable regulatory standards. Assists with the development of operating processes to improve record management and team efficiency.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 3+ years of total relevant work experience
