Assemble and install wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions and materials required
Measure, cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials using power tools
Fit and install prefabricated window frames, doors, doorframes, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware such as locks, letterboxes, and kick plates
Install cabinets, countertops, shelving units, and other wooden fixtures
Repair or replace damaged or defective wooden parts of structures
Paint surfaces as needed to ensure a finished appearance

Proven experience as a joiner or carpenter
Proficient in using power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, etc.
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and methods
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements
Physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting as required
Basic knowledge of other trades such as masonry, electrical work, roofing, plumbing, etc. is a plus
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
