Job Title: PIA Coordinator

Salary:
£25,500 - £27,500 per annum


Role Purpose:
The PIA coordinator facilitates the project delivery, in line with the PIA contractual frameworks.


Main Responsibilities:

Coordination of works and project planning PIA related activities such as Network adjustments, Notices of Intent, Whereabouts Tracking, forecasting etc.

Ensuring workflow is prioritised and addressed in line with given product timescales. The PIA Coordinator will be key in strengthening the business relationship with our infrastructure build partners (PIA/Contract Labour).

The role holder will represent our business in all that they do so they will need to demonstrate our passion for connecting Cornwall, and the Southwest.


Key Activities:

While duties and responsibilities will vary, they typically include:

  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management of PIA activities.
  • Submission of all appropriate PIA product requests; Network adjustments, NOIs, build complete, coop ancillary requests etc.
  • Assessing viable routes and adjusting notices of intent based on fieldengineering feedback and direct request from line management.
  • Liaising with operations staff, field engineering teams, directlabour gangs and build partners to facilitate a compliant approach to FTTP network delivery.
  • Working crossdepartment to ensure that all works are scheduled and delivered on time and budget.
  • Monitoring case progression and escalating through given channels if resolution cannot be reached within contractual delivery dates.
  • Managing defects (Candid reports) and ensuring that work is scheduled as a priority to resolve.
  • Updating and running reports associated with PIA consumption rates, including forecasting, costreports and build pace
  • Creation and submission of network adjustment work packs (A55s)
  • Influencing and promoting a consistent compliant approach within the PIA contractual framework.
  • Works coordination activities in line with project delivery requirements.
  • Supporting wider team to attend PIA License Review meetings

Essential Person Specification

Knowledge:


  • Awareness of FTTP network infrastructure build programs
  • In depth knowledge and awareness of Microsoft 365 product
  • Interpretation of GIS network build files (desirable)

The following experience is desirable but not essential:

  • A background within an Alt-Net in PIA operations
  • Experience in PIA administration
  • Working crossdepartment managing multiple stakeholders
  • Reading and interpretation of complex technical documents and processes

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving license
  • Prince 2/Agile PM Foundation or similar (desirable)
  • Core IT competencies (BTEC Lv. 3/ECDL or similar) (desirable)

Circumstances:


  • Usual working hours 8am4pm Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid working
