We are looking for someone who can nurture and develop close links with parents and carers of children with special educational needs.

As Admissions Coordinator for our Surrey schools, you will be one of the first points of contact for parents and carers that are interested in Witherslack Group.

You will be able to build relationships and be able to effectively communicate our extensive educational offering.

Working with internal and external stakeholders, you will provide a vital link between parents and carers, young people, school staff and external professionals.


Day to day you will.
-
_Manage parts the parental enquiry and referral process_ in a proactive, professional and organised manner. Supported by our expert Partnerships Managers and Family Liaison Officers.

  • Actively promote individual schools and Witherslack Group aims and objectives.
  • Work closely with the Partnership Managers to ensure that the enquiries and referrals process runs smoothly.
  • Coordinate school visits as part of the referral process.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and understanding of SEN sector.
  • Ensure internal IT systems and records are accurate and kept up to date at all times.

Here's what we need from you;

  • A people person someone who cares, is empathetic and can translate Witherslack Group's ambition to provide aspirational futures through inspirational education and care
  • Excellent communication skills working directly either with young people, their families or external agencies in formal situations.
  • Strong administrative skills and understanding of the importance of keeping accurate records and can work effectively in a team.
  • Well rounded interpersonal skills to ensure an efficient but empathetic, caring and knowledgeable service
  • GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths, excellent IT skills, plus some understanding of the regulations and legal aspects of SEND (or willing to learn). You'll also need to be willing to undertake relevant training too.
  • Have a passion for the education and care of children and young people with SEN
  • The ability to relate to a range of different audiences
